Welcome to the HN Homeshare Housing Registry Salt Spring Island

Seasonal & Year-Round Options Available

A Community-First Approach to Housing on Salt Spring Island

The HN Homeshare Housing Registry offers a community-centered, proactive solution to Salt Spring Island’s evolving housing needs. Focused on gentle density and connection, the registry helps homeowners and renters come together to create secure, affordable housing opportunities that support long-term community resilience.

Originally designed for the Southern Gulf Islands — Galiano, Mayne, Pender, and Saturna — the Registry has grown thanks to the foundational support of the SGI Economic Sustainability Commission and SGI Capital Regional District.

In 2024, we proudly expanded to Salt Spring Island with support from the Southern Gulf Islands Tourism Partnership and the Salt Spring Island Local Community Commission. This collaborative momentum enables us to better serve Salt Spring’s unique rental landscape — from seasonal housing for workers to long-term home sharing opportunities.
