Our Homeshare Housing Registry; designed for the Southern Gulf and Salt Spring Islands, represents a gentle density and proactive approach to addressing our regions’ rental housing supply challenges while fostering a sense of community and collaboration.

Focus on Salt Spring

Originally established as a Homeshare Registry Program for the Islands of Galiano, Mayne, Pender, and Saturna, our initiative has grown significantly thanks to the generous support of the SGI Economic Sustainability Commission and SGI Capital Regional District.

In 2023/24, our efforts received a further boost from the Southern Gulf Island Tourism Partnership and the Salt Spring Island Local Community Commission. With their invaluable support, Housing NOW expanded its mission to serve the unique needs of Salt Spring Island’s community.

Our goal is to ensure that our Homeshare Registry Program not only meets but exceeds the expectations of Salt Spring residents. Whether you’re offering accommodation or searching for a place to call home, our dedicated HN Registry team is here to assist.
