Dining in the Dark: Second Helpings (Volume 2)

What we’re looking for Volume 2

  • Kid-friendly
  • Budget-friendly
  • Gluten-free
  • Dairy-free
  • Vegetarian
  • Vegan
  • Diabetic
  • Snacks

What to include

  • Recipe Name
  • Your name and Island
  • Origin story (why this recipe matters to you)
  • Ingredients using standard measures (cup, tbsp, tsp, ml, g)
  • Steps that work without grid power, and cooking method (BBQ, propane stove, wood stove, fireplace, etc.)
  • Servings and dietary notes (e.g., kid-friendly, budget-friendly, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan)

Submissions may be lightly edited for clarity and space.

Email

  • Send to dineitdark@sgicrc.ca with the subject line RECIPE SUBMISSION Volume 2. Attach your recipe or paste it in the email

Drop-off

  • Place a printed copy in your local SGI Community Resource Centre drop box (label: “Dining in the Dark – Recipe”).
