I’m really looking forward to diving into the areas of food security, trail maintenance & protection of wild places, anything to do with the arts, and overall learning more about this community that I’ve been apart from for so long. I’m also interested in the Computer Savvy Seniors program, and following indigenous leadership in terms of restoration & reconciliation.
I’ve got a background in intersectional and intergenerational activism, fostering community via nonviolent communication and relationship building, farm-to-table cuisine, nutrition and natural wellness, and administrative/reception work— I’m excited to weave these all together and offer skills and experience from all of these areas.
Before joining this team, I’ve been WWOOFing at a local farm since august, learning tons about agriculture, animal husbandry, and food preservation. In my free time, I enjoy reading & writing, cooking, drawing, and photography— and I love learning about anthropology, mysticism, herbalism and design.
